Civonchelo is a contemporary painter based in Germany, originally from Lithuania, known for his abstract and obstructed figurative and portrait paintings. His passion for art began at a young age, attending an art school in his hometown of Vilnius. Growing up in a creative environment ignited his passion for creating art, exploring various forms such as sculpture, pottery, papercraft, drawing, linocut, and even graffiti during his rebellious teen years. Despite these diverse interests, painting remained the most satisfying medium for him.

Over the years, Civonchelo's work has evolved from realistic portrayals to looser, more abstracted, or "obstructed," as he likes to describe them. This shift reflects his desire to capture not just the physical form but the essence and emotion behind it. Currently, he draws inspiration from the alluring beauty of the human form, capturing its essence with loose and swift brushstrokes that convey spontaneity and vitality. His work celebrates the diverse and captivating nature of humanity, inviting viewers to appreciate its allure and explore various interpretations. His current motto, "inspired by the alluring beauty," perfectly encapsulates this focus.
